Camping with your own tent
Just pitch your tent, chill & relax. There are no electric hook ups, no marked out plots, just camping as nature intended. But panic not, you don’t have to strip off, go unwashed or pee on the compost heap to be totally at one with nature. We do have some rather nice showers, toilets, cooking facilities, power points and wi-fi. And we would rather not see your dangly bits!
Hiring tents
If travelling with all the paraphernalia of camping life is difficult for you, or you just fancy giving it a try, then why not hire one of our tents and equipment from just €2 per night?
Camper vans
Because of our location, we’re not really suitable for camper vans over 6m in length, but we do have three spaces that are accessible to the smaller, “California” style vans. We can also hook you up with electricity if you like.
Glamping
We have some gorgeous cotton canvas tents, including classic bell tents and a couple of larger delightful retro ridge tents. All are 100% cotton canvas, and can be (depending on your requirements) fully equipped with beds, bed linen and towels. The bell tents are luxury for two (or spacious enough for a small family for a few nights). The ridge tents comfortably sleep up to 6 people. The canvas is breathable ensuring the tents stay cooler in high temperatures, but are also treated to ensure they are waterproof too. They all have mosquito vents and a zipped in groundsheet to keep bugs at bay allowing you to leave the door open on those balmy summer nights, or when you just want to lie in bed watching the twinkling lights of the stars and fireflies.
With these tents, all you need bring is your lovely selves, we’ll supply everything else: bed linen, towels, kitchen equipment and so on. That said, we’re flexible on the equipment provided so, for a reduced cost, if you’d like to bring your own just let us know.
Self-catering accommodation: If camping really isn’t your thing, or you want to come in the cooler off-season months, we do have a very comfortable en-suite room in our farmhouse on the campsite. It has a large double bed, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. All the outside living, terrace, BBQs, kitchen, communal barn, wifi and so on are available to you as if you were camping. This way, you get the best of both worlds.
